Victoria Skilled Nomination and Business Programs to reopen

The Victorian Government has announced that it will reopen its Business Program on 4 January 2021 and its Skilled nomination program on 5 January 2021.

Victoria’s Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP)

Victoria’s full 2020-21 business and investor visa nomination program, SC 188A, 188B, and 188E streams and SC 132A and 132B streams, will re-open at 10am AEDT on Monday, 4 January 2021.

Applications for Significant Investor SC 188C visa nominations opened on Monday 30 November.

The Commonwealth Department of Home Affairs has allocated the Victoria Government another 1,350 visa nomination places, in addition to the 400 places as part of the interim program. Our total number of places for the Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) is 1,750 for the 2020-21 program year.

Victoria’s skilled visa nomination program (Subclasses 190 and 491)

Victoria’s full 2020-21 skilled visa nomination program (subclasses 190 and 491) will re-open at 10am AEDT on Tuesday, 5 January 2021.

The Commonwealth Department of Home Affairs has allocated the Victorian Government further visa nomination places, in addition to the places provided as part of the interim program.

An additional 1,900 places have been allocated for SC 190 visa nominations bringing the migration year total to 2,500. An additional 843 places have been allocated for SC 491 visa nominations, a total of 1,043 for the same period.
